{Greetings and Salivatations, All!}
begin
For a while now, I've had an ever-growing list of albums to find. Once in a
while, my wallet lets me knock one or two off of it, as it did a few days ago.
Just some late 80s rock--Poison's "Flesh and Blood" and Warrant's "Cherry Pie."
Not only does listening to those bring me back to the post high-school, pre
getting a life days, but the first cd I mentioned has a nice surprise on it.
I don't know if any of you regulars remember; it's been a while since I broght
it up, and an even longer while since I posted anything, but I've had a
long-time fascination with blues tunes performed by (usually hard) rock
artists.
Well, for anyone who's interested, the last track on Flesh and Blood is "Poor
Boy Blues." Not up on the same scale as Triumph's "Little Boy Blues" or AC/DC's
"Ride On," but a fine tune nonetheless. That makes one more to add to (what's
so far) a small list, including the likes of The Grateful Dead, Chuck Berry,
Ted Nugent, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and a couple of others.......
