Sucre a la creme categories: Canadian, New Brunswick, candy, fudge servings: 64 1/2 c butter 1 c brown sugar 1/3 c milk (or 10 to 18% cream) 3 c icing sugar Melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar. Simmer for 2 min to dissolve sugar. Add milk and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Remove from heat, let cool until warm. Add icing sugar and beat with mixer until smooth.
