  Historians and other pedant-wankers with their head up their
arse always trace things to the first inception (JFK in 1961, from
memory), but I trace it from the surge in general use, which came with
PCs, M$ and Windows in the mid-80s. Suit yourself.

  Of course, you'll probably want to trace Windows back a bit further,
too... and tell me the Chinese Tang Dynasty had a functioning XT, and
that Pasquale was invented by Blaze Starr in the 17th Century.
