High! Sjoerd,
Ref: Help! How to use WordBasic variabeles in a template in Word 7?,
dd.02-May-97, from: Sjoerd van Roessel
SvR> I need some help, I made a macro in WordBasic and I want to
SvR> use the variabeles in a template. Question: How can you call the
SvR> variabeles in the template and insert them.
I'm afraid you'll have to insert the data from within your macro.
Insert a bookmark (bladwijzer) at the right place in the template by
placing the cursor on that spot and selecting Bewerken, Bladwijzer...,
typing in the right name and selecting Toevoegen.
Then you can use in your macro:
BewerkenGaNaar .Doel = "BladwijzerNaam"
Invoegen Variable$
SvR> I also have troubles with the conversion of it. I want to change
SvR> the contents of a field standard in small letters. Help
Is it a Formulierveld in the template or a field in a dialogbox in the
macro.
The Formulierveld has a property that you can set, so it will convert
its contents to lowercase characters. Use Invoegen, Formulierveld...,
select Tekstvak and click Opties... The box Tekstopmaak will let you
choose 'kleine letters'.
At the end of designing your template you should protect the template
from modifications by Extra, Document beveiligen..., Formulieren, OK.
When you enter something in the formfield all input will be shown as
entered, but upon pressing to move to the next field the input
will be converted to lowercase.
