Hello Bob,

BL> That's terrific. I wonder what Fido will do when they find out
 BL> what's happening?

They already know. At least some of them who read avtech do.

 BL> Idf they turn shitty,

I had the "supplying a fido feed to an excommunicated node" thing come up
again just recently by my current NC. I don't know if he meant the first case
of the message I posted in net_dev, or this current one in avtech. Either way,
the net_dev case is a moot point now, and the avtech case is not really a case
at all since paul is no longer "excommunicated". I told him this
and he hasn't
brought it up since. I think they're scraping the bottom of the excuse barrel.

BL> it would be a simple matter to use false PATH: lines.

Wouldn't work (or be effective rather). In the case of the gating from PEnet,
the first path line would be added by the first non-point fido node handling
the mail, me. If I were to fake it, it would still go via my uplink, either
way, the origin line reads 3:712/610.20.
Policy 4 also states if you are gating mail, you must clearly identify the
gating system, so you can't remove the origin line and expect to get away with
it for any extended amount of time.

 Stuff them I say.
