I'm sure it could be done.
I started reading a "how-to-php" book i bought i got burnt out quick
on that one. but it came with a cd :) php + mysql softwares.

er you know I run vadv-php right?
Steve Winn has coded all the dos bbs routines into php routines.
the php page runs beside the telnet shareing the bbs dir and files.
(maybe not all):)
