FM> Hmmm, although I've only been following this thread casually, I

FM> But I did understand that Paul was telling you that the name of
FM> the file(s) you were looking for would quite likely start with
FM> or contain UPC rather than UCP, and therefore that's what you
 FM> should have searched for.

On the SPCUG, they publish a proper file description for each file,
unlike Paul, who writes things like: "another file I don't understand
from Frank or someone." Paul has endearing ways, but not very helpful.

My reasoning (which proved correct) is that the file itself may not
be called UPCsomething.zip, but the file description will contain what
it is meant to do: handle UUCP packets. Obviously, to us mice with an
IQ better than 100, the name of file name *may* have UPC in it, but
the description will *surely* have UCP in it (and it did), or if not
if will give you a start to chase funny-named files that seem to be
compulsory for unix-wankers.

And besides, it stirred Paul really well, which was my main aim. And
will again, or my name's not Pauline.

Regards,
Bob
