This might get to be monotonous to you, Bob. But I did get back
to the URL and D/Led the text again. Just in case!
       I got it unziped, they all showed up with the wp5 suffix and
Word 7 went to work on them, properly. I tried your solution again,
which seems to be to logical steps to take. But still, my " TABLE then
Chnage to TEXT " prompt is still " dimmed " and thus can not be
toggled.
       The question then seems to have changed to this one: how can I
get Word 7 to change this selection so I can select it with my rodent ?
