  Exactly! There is no excuse to use "excessively annoying" as an
offence. It's censorship pure and simple, and the medium is such that
you can remove such people from your mail, totally. What is annoying
to one is entertaining to another. Rod gives me the utter shits, Paul
is terrific.

  To me, the *only* reason to remove someone from mail, is if their
quantity of mail is adding appreciably to the cost of transport, and
in that case it would be a simple matter of calculation, not opinion.
