The correct way to find the best *value* is to cost the differential
and see where is starts to rise. For instance, the Trader has:

                    extra (per Mb)
    1.3 $225 -
    1.7 $255 7.5c
    2.1 $280 6.3c
    2.5 $300 5.0c
    3.2 $380 11.4c
    3.8 $435 9.2c
    4.3 $480 9.0c

You can see that going from 1.3 to 1.7 costs you 7.5c per Mb. The
best is going from 2.1 to 2.5 for 5c per megabyte, and the worst is
the one you recommended at 11.4c per Mb, which means that this is the
drive you will lose the most money on, in depreciation. In my book the
2.5Gb at $300 is the best buy just now, and the one on while I'd lose
the least money.

Bob
