I am using Office97 (Word8 ?) and cannot seem to set the default date 
format.
Insert --> Date and Time brings up the Date and Time box. I select the 
format I like (3rd one down from the top), click the Default button, but 
the next time I open Word, I have to go through all this rigamarole 
again.
Obviously, once I set the default format it remains for the session, but 
is there any way to avoid having to reset it each time; i.e., is there a 
way to keep it so that when I hit Ctrl + ; I always get the date in the 
preferred format?
