I,M trying qmodem trial version I guess cus I got it from a bbs..
MY 28800 zoom v.34 modem does'nt like it for some reason..
I don't know exactly what I have done wrong...
WHen I am Online.. the lower left hand  word "offline" still appears but
is flickering like crazy.. so is the time in the lower right corner..and
the time on line is not shown, the current time shows it flickers as
well.
I can connect easily to any bbs but when I try to download using zmodem,
the download fails and quickly shows no carrier on the download screen.
Am I not setting the init string correctly or what..
I need an experienced Qmodem user to lend me some of his(her
experience).
this is a dos program.. does that matter.. or is their a trial windows
version out there some where..
I appreciate any help that could be given..
