I've heard that the software detects when a newer version is available, and
graciously downloads it and installs it for you. :)
When you first install it, the s/w is like a bootstrap, it grabs everything
else via the cable modem... something like 90Mb worth. Good way of chewing
up your 100 free megs for the first month...
