BE>Somehow I found that profoundly sad that his Grandfather
BE>cherished the gun enough to hang on to it all those years,
BE>specifically called out in his will that it should go to
BE>his grandson, and the little ingrate felt a party weekend
BE>with his girlfriend had a higher value.
BE>Somehow the worth of a family heirloom such as this is being lost on some,
BE>hopefully not all, of the newest generation.
I suppose it's foolish to expect someone to value something just
because you do; but you'd at least expect someone to value an
heirloom. Don't be too sad, Bill...the young man will grow up
someday; and realize what he gave away...not only a fine
firearm, but a part of his history. Ernie P.
