You know , Bob, I still have not solved the problems with these
formating characters going from WP5 to Word7.
       You mentioned once to go into FORMAT and click on "Change to
TEXT". I did go on that menu but the "Change to TEXT" is in light grey
and therefore not clickable.
       I tried the "Delete format" (?) and the whole paragraph
disappeared.  UNDO qwick! Ouf, that was close.
       But as you mentioned, the  ----  hatched lines are there, really
showing that there is paragraph formatting. And they all have that
little circle with 4 spindly legs.
