Use a word table in a template for invoicing... Does simple
addition, subtraction, and multiplication... with nary a
glitch... also, when it comes to Certificates for Payment for
construction projects... also works great... not a 'real'
spreadsheet... but a simple one, nonetheless...
Thanks... also, often take tabular computer output from DOS programs
and embed them into word using comma delimiters and then convert
this into a table... do the same thing with some other output and
then paste parts of the second table into the first... works
slicker than a...
I then insert a blank column and then might want to average a couple of
values... or get ratios or simple math stuff...
I know how to do this in Excel... but want to leave Excel out of
it... If I'm doing a project estimate, then I'll link my Excel data
into word... but, I try not to depend on too many programs... in
the event that the place I'm working at for the project may not
have a copy of Excel, but they have Word...
