Having confronted Dr. Mike, Mark Lewis, International Man Of Mystery, 
exclaimed:
 ML> Rugby League, Cricket, Rugby Union, Aussie Rules, Tennis.
 ML> The Pan Pacific Swimming Championship (currently being held in
 ML> Japan). Anything really, expect Amercian Football, Hockey,
 ML> Basketball etc. 
     What about Canadian Football?   Apart from the Grand Final 
we don't get to see any Aussie Rules Football games here in Canada.  
Fascinating game though, real fast and exciting much like hockey on 
grass.  So do you have a favourite AFL team?  When does the season 
usually run?  If I ever get to Australia I would love to go see a game.  
     I've enjoyed international rugby.  Watched World Cup of Rugby 
back in '94, and was surprised by how entertaining it was, watched 
almost all the games (including the New Zealand slaughter of Japan, 
those swine, I'm glad they lost the final...)
     Apart from Rugby and Aussie Rules, my favourite sports are Canadian 
Football, hockey and curling.  It's neat to hear from a non-American 
sports fan, our Yankee cousins can be a bit boorish at times...
