On or about: 04-06-08 14:08, Jay Emrie did engage Tom Walker regarding, but not limited to: CFL Light Bulbs TW>JE>BA>When the pickup/disposal fees get up there a lot TW>JE>BA>of illegal dumping occur TW>JE>BA>rural TW>JE>BA>areas. Illegal both in the sense of what's being TW>JE>BA>dumped and trespassing TW>JE>BA>other TW>JE>BA>people's property. TW>JE>Tis a normal situation - many people ignore the rules/laws. TW>JE>Especially when it is rather difficult to comply. TW>And with some "So Called" recyclers Raping the public by charging $15 or TW>More to dispose of a monitor or a Printer that does not exacticaly TW>motivate one to do it right. JE> Amen! ...Then I realize how good we have it here. CRT, and computer recycling depots are located around our city. These are typically attached to second hand computer stores, as few of those as they are these days. There is also a "everything electronics" recycler. Depending who is working there, they do or do not recover gold from electrical contacts and the like. Still, before this system, we were offered at-cost CRT recycling for a dollar each. This was then shipped to Texas as I was told. ...
