Laws, Jr. ***
Having confronted Dr. Ed, Barry Laws, Jr., International Man Of Mystery,
exclaimed:
BLJ> About the NFL, you make sense. They should just have 2 divisions per
BLJ> conference (NFC East, NFC West, AFC East, and AFC West). This is a
BLJ> possible idea for NFL alignment, and tell me what you think (what you
BLJ> like and what you don't like)...
The NFL should stick with the current 6 division set up, but the
teams should be aligned according to region. Regional rivalries are
more lasting than rivalries with whoever happens to be powerful at the
time. It also would avoid such potentially disastrous Super Bowl match
ups like the Giants vs. the Jets which would only interest people in New
York City. The alignment should look like this (allowing for sure bet
expansion franchises for Cleveland and Los Angeles):
American Football Conference

Northeast Central South Atlantic
