Now I see what you are wanting to accomplish.

There must be a reason why Micro$oft decided that users could not close a
DOS window by hitting Alt-F4 (but it's beyond my reasoning).  I suspect
that if you try to alter the way Alt-F4 processes a DOS window, it will
have disastrous effects on the other open windows.

If there is a way to distinguish a DOS window versus a window 'window' by
a variable, then you may be able to alias *Alt-F4 by using 'iff' and
Kstack, but, I've been looking to you as being the resident guru.   :-[)

I spent some time perusing my ancient Fido 4DOS echo areas, but I didn't
find anything relating to your requirements - one or two that may provide a
direction of exploration, but nothing conclusive.  Give me a chance to
extract them from the database and I'll either post the results here or
netmail you.
