 rorm the Central Station or the Fiber Node feeding the DSL copperv ot
 your house.
In fact I se that the current CNN web page ad ad for a low cost DSL says
"UP to" 768 kilo bites speed.
don't go for a long term contract until you determine the "Actual
Typical speed at "Your" house.
