        That could also be done but I intend to "cure" a laptop HD, a
   2.5" one, connected with the proper adaptor. These adaptors are the
   bug in the rug, they adapt the 40 wire ribbon cable from the IDE
   header and the 4 cable power bundle into a single one where the
   laptop HD can be mated. You do not want to see my bench when I do
   this type of work, I have a Thinkpad in which the CD-ROM is dead, I
   have to take the HD out of it, connect it as above to load any new
   stuff on it. Works for me.
     
       
   Getting these PW locked HDs fixed
