That's in effect what I did do to the intoxicated victim. As our tap is hard, (see previous) I made a concerted effort to slap as much water I could out on a clean pair of pants leg. That vinegar might be effective too. I use it in my coffee perk all the time, but I never imagined it for copper traces. That might tarnish, wouldn't you think? ...
