I'm pre JB>curious to try those, in fact, but last I checked, they still cost more. LE JB>can be pretty intense sometimes to look at, as well, so I dunno how I'd like JB>those compared to CFL. I like the light emmitted by regular incandescent bul JB>better than CFL, for all that goes, but oh well. One trade-off for another. LED lamps cost a LOT more and I mean really a lot then talkiong abotu replevements for Incansescent bulbs. One example is the 1157 Automobile Bulb LED replacement. It goes at $19.95 A Edison Screw Base bulb equal to a 30~35 Watt bulb is $36.95 I couldn't is a quick search find any Higher Watage bulbs. And there is stil some prolbem with the coloring of the light output. It is a harsh color and some just don't like it. I feel the same way about the CFL's myself. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 393/68 396/45 633/104 260 262 267 285 690/682 734 712/848 SEEN-BY: 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
