 Well for some it does increase the posabilities. As they exapnd the
 Fiber "Nodes" there can extend DSL to those within 18 Kilo Feet of that
 terminal.
OF course in areas of massiave open space it is not any help at all.
Although one does have the somewhat expansive option of Satelite
Internet.
