I too thought it could be the phosphor that was the nasty stuff, but I did
hear a report that it is the tiny amount of mercury vapor in the vacuum
that can do us the most damage. (Used to conduct?)

I'm just assuming healthy kidneys, or whatever organ has to shove phosphor
through our body can deal with the amount in a few four footers, but the
accumulation of mercury never can be expelled. Eat too much tuna fish, and
you be dead.
