        This is what I thought first but since I have learned that
   this is not the case. The HD is not even seen on booting, stops all
   cold until the PW is input. A friend from NZ has devised a way to
   rid the HD of this block. I will test it next week when I get back
   home, one needs a desktop to so do. It involves booting to DOS and
   after this, connecting the PW-HD and running a very small programme
   on it.           I hope !
