My DSL and POTS both work on the one line.

I just use a phone co. supplied Filter on each wall outlet.

Here in the computer room I have the DSL modems special connector
plugged into the DSL socket on the Filter, and the regular stuff,
Phone, Modem on another pc, etc. plugged into the Phone socket on the
Filter.

I've tried it out and I can be on DSL and have a POTS connection from
the modem on the other side of the filter and both work fine.
