The Alcor corrector has a few different flavours, some of which are=0D
aimed at the dual axis Celestron scopes. What you want is the basic=0D
Alcor with a single output. Michael mentions that this can drive the two=0D
motors in the Celestron, both of these motors are on the same axis so it=0D
is a single axis corrector.=0D
As Bob May mentioned a simple low buck approach is one of the 100-250=0D
watt inverters that are designed for running TV's off of a car battery.=0D
It would get you up and running using DC right away and as you get more=0D
comfortable with the unit you can open it up at a later date and see=0D
what it would take to make the frequency variable.=0D
