50 million is a whole lot of money! Jeez, if Edmonton could get that kind of 
dough, Peter Pocklington wouldn't have the team on sale right now. Just think 
of what Glen Sather could do with Edmonton if the Oilers had money. Vancouver 
should be a contender now. I don't think the Rangers are contenders anymore 
unless they make a good trade. Colorado would have been a contender even if 
they did lose Sakic. Detroit is obviously still in it. Philly's in it. I 
wonder what happens to Graton (I think that's how you spell it) now. Kevin 
Lowe is staying with the Oilers. He got an offer from Vancouver and Calgary 
but he chose Edmonton. He signed a 2 year deal with the second year optional.
