I think Sakic liked it with Colorado. Besides, he didn't have much of a say. 
New York offered him a contract and he's group 2 free agent. Colorado has to 
match it or get 5 draft picks compensation.  Sakic didn't have much of a 
choice. Montreal has some good goal scorers like Rucinsky, Damphousse, Rechi, 
and a few others that are coming around. It's just that Thibault is too young 
to be a starter and so is Theodore. It's a good thing they got Moog or they 
would be in serious trouble this year. They also still have to work on their 
defense.
