Hey Russ,
You haven't done anything that hasn't been done before...just read the
archives. The best discussions on this list comes out with a simple thought
or idea, which leads to an answer and depending on the nature of the
thought
it may then become a debate of both theory and logic. If it doesn't start
out this way (by argument) than the information would other wise not make
the list. It is the comments from us who want to know, that provoke those
that "do" to make comments, thus makes for converstation. It is
from these people that we learn from, not one single thought, but several.
If we are wrong, we are told why and then explained how it works. Every
debate I have read in the archives has led to good and useful information,
and leaves us the unknowing, to think through their thoughts and put it
together into something we can use. The only unfortunate aspect to the
challenging debates is when it turns into anger and nasty slurs made toward
each other. Everything that is sent on this mail service is becomes
history, and it is put into the archives. This is what makes this list so
valuable, and a live. .communication. I personally have learned so much
from this list, and after being absent for three years, I come back to find
that people came send images of their work and get profession advice as to
what is wrong and told how to fix it. I am in truly amazed at the
technology of the RoboFoucault. This list will continue, as technology
keeps puting tools in our hands.
Arthur
I too, miss Richard S. His comments made me laugh.

To all on the list,
For some reason I have been making comments on alot of listings, since they
interest me.
Sometimes I feel like I am giving information that is not always correct...
But correct or not I am sure my "Brothers in arms" (on the list)
will correct my assinine statements and incorrect interpitations
of things that I think I know but really don't.... (this is in no way a
surrendering of my statements,
just a confession of not knowing the right answers sometimes) , but that is
the way of the world.
I guess I will tone down a bit... Russ Jocoy
PS..... gee I miss Richard S..... He would always give me S---
