Can you define your goals more specifically? Visual observation of deep sky? Visual observation of planets/moon? CCD for pretty pictures? CCD for science/data gathering? Also, can you give us an idea of two things: A. Amount of light pollution (naked eye limiting magnitude) at both sites. B. Odds of growth of light pollution in the coming years. Based on your answers, it will probably be a bit easier to choose which site is better suited to your goals. Tom Krajci Tashkent, Uzbekistan -+- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
