Is there anyone else here loking forward to the Winter Olympics as much as I 
am? Now that the NHL players will be there that is. after that fluke of a 
loss at the world cup, the Canadian Team will be more prepared and should be 
able to get the gold. Not to mention the fact that we will now have a better 
coach and really good management. I don't think the American team will have 
the same luck they had at the world cup. The Russian team should do better 
than they did at the WC. The Swedish team cuold be a factor, especially since 
they will be playing with internation rules. 
 
As for Goaltending, we should have Roy in there. I have no idea why he wasn't 
part of our WC team.  
 
I am also interested to see what the Russian team will look like. I think 
they may be able to gain back some of the form that made them the No. 2 
hockey power in the world all those years ago. 
 
I don't know what teams will be there that are pointless, but if it's like 
the World Cup, the German team will be like the American team (almost half 
Canadian with a Canadian coach). 
 
I think when it all comes down to it it wil be a race between the Canadians, 
Russians, and Swedes. With the possibility of the Americans or  Finns or 
Czechs getting in the medal standings somewhere. 
 
Is there anyone else out there as interested in Internation Hockey as myself?
