I couldn't be more glad that Sakic is still with the Avs. I have been a 
Nord/Av fan for a long time, and Sakic has been my favorite player ever since 
I can remember (I am not too old). The Rangers are my most hated team, so I 
would have been crushed to see  him go there.  
 
 
As for the Canadiens, they need solid Goaltending most of all. When they had 
Roy, the didn't have a terribally strong team, but they did win 2 Stanley 
Cups. If Koivu can stay healthy, and they can get a franchise Goalie, they're 
back in the game.
