Hello Dan,
Responding to a post in the 4DOS area:
On Sunday December 19 2004 at 22:58,
Dan Ceppa [1:123/666] wrote to Ralf Brinkmann,
about: MSDOS.SYS

One way that I can think of is to put the following in that Alias4.dos file
I was discussing with you:
dir=*dir/arhs
Notice the asterisk! You will need to have that where I have shown it or
you will wind up in an endless loop.
A couple more that I use:
; directory with all attributes, upper case, hide dots, suppress header &
; footer, sort the listing by extension order
dr=*dir/aehkmo:e
; directory with all attributes, upper case, hide dots, suppress header &
; footer, sort the listing by extension order with no date, time, or
; filesize
drb=*dir/abehkmo:e
; "shortcut" for typing EXIT
ex=*exit
I can probably dig up some more from the DOS machine...
Cheers ... Gerald
... I feel like a twenty year old, but the wife sezs I can't have one!
