DS> system attribute. You could get a little more fancy and use the DS> alias as sdir = *dir /a /t DS> so that you would see the attributes in the dir listing. That worked! The /ARHS didn't though. Perhaps there should have bee slashes in that setting? DS> *dir above is to take care of the possibility that the original dir DS> was aliased to something else -- * forces the original DS> function even if the name has been aliased to a different function. I try to avoid aliases whenever possible.
