Dale, DR> Tonight I am going to start defining fidomsg.xml. Next I am going for DR> fidopkt.xml. Sorry for this late reply - I've been very busy outside Fido for a while. Working full time++ and I'm also in the progress of moving to a new apartment... If you like you could take a look at "http://pkt3.darktech.org/". Maybe you can use some of the ideas? Micael Bülow also has a "proof-of-concept" implementation of a Fido WWW -interface at "http://bulow.nu/fidonet/ifbb/". Mostly Swedish/Nordic areas but I think you'll get the idea. I believe it uses a MS SQL server back end and a PKT<-- XML converter to get it in and out of the DB. Further more, I have a home cooked Java/SQL Fido system that can import and export messages in both Type 2+ and XML. It currently uses the format on the web site listed above. It's not production quality yet but it's proof that it can be done. :-) Jesper, yeppe{at}enjoy.cc ---* Origin: Singularity Online - FidoNet The Next Generation (2:204/255) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 204/255 20/11 379/1 633/267 |
