I have one of these in my rifle rack at home. My father bought it in
Pittsburgh during the depression for a couple of bucks and a couple of
streetcar tokens. It's a single shot bold action manually cocked .22 rifle,
light weight, and with iron sights shoots just better than anything else
we've
ever owned. LOTS of us Rudolph kids learned to shoot with it, and my kids
are
still learning on it.
I've never seen another, and just wondered if this is in any way special
(aside from its obvious semtimental and utilitarian values.) Nothing on it
has ever been replaced, and it continues to function perfectly - and I know
that over the last 45 years or so I have put at least 10,000 rounds through
it
myself.
Anyone else have one? Were they really as good as I think this one is?
