Well, it (hope) was good while it lasted. I downloaded MSI 2.0 for Windows NT/2000, which installed Ok on Windows NT 4.0 Workstation. But it couldn't run the 4nt.exe installation file, claiming some application error (which I couldn't find in the Event Logs). So I 4nt.exe /extract:c: . in Windows XP. Then tried double clicking the 4nt.msi file in Windows NT and got the following message: 4NT will not install on less than Windows 2000 Bummer. So I try extract /e disk1.cab . in Windows NT to extract the internal files. Then tried running the nt.exe file which fails to find .dll files. Btw; running nt.exe at this stage works in Windows XP. So thems the brakes. Looks like I'll have to use Windows Scripting Host (WSH) for all my magic. --- Msged/386 4.30* Origin: ypan.dyndns.org loves Msged...
