I've gone through upgrades before!  Once bitten, twice shy!!!

I had already done that when it bombed out in 2.30  It was working 
fine in 2.12  The main reason for going to 2.30 was that it is much 
friendlier should a system error arise.  With 2.30, at worst I 
lost some message status marks and maybe the last reply I was making.  

I used to be able to recover in 2.12, but that was under DOS and 
the utilities I used don't work with a WINxx system.  At the time, 
splitting of the tag file was the lesser of two evils, as 2.30 
recovery was much easier.
