I've gone through upgrades before! Once bitten, twice shy!!! DC> The only difference I found between BW and BW386 was the DC> ability to access one of my bloated tagline files. Thus, DC> there is no need for the BW386 version. ml> hummm... seems that it might be time to break that overly large ml> tagline file down into smaller bites ;) I had already done that when it bombed out in 2.30 It was working fine in 2.12 The main reason for going to 2.30 was that it is much friendlier should a system error arise. With 2.30, at worst I lost some message status marks and maybe the last reply I was making. I used to be able to recover in 2.12, but that was under DOS and the utilities I used don't work with a WINxx system. At the time, splitting of the tag file was the lesser of two evils, as 2.30 recovery was much easier. --- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Soundly on the Fault Line (1:123/666.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/666 500 106/2000 633/267 |
