 It's a lot worse in holysmoke where some participants are 
 completely immune to logic and reason.

I sometimes feel like I'm doing that when pondering recent 
discoveries in the field of physics. Slowing light down to 35 M.P.H.
in a Bose -Einsein condensate, transmitting information faster than 
light in a highly charged environment and the accelleration
of the expansion of the universe are but a few of the 
incredible to ponder discoveries of late that have solidly 
tested evidence to support them but defy intuitive thought.
