What if I want to test for trefoil or other higher orders of astigmatism?! 
You just wave your hand and say it's not there?  I'm supposed to be
satisfied?  Maybe I should join that local college mirror workshop you
mentioned.  Then I would be blissfully ignorant of the problem. 
(Problem...what problem?)  ;-)
