I am not an authority on SMG but I do question the wisdom of a 5,56 Nato
SMG intended for urban use due to overpenetration.  ALso, from an
accuracy standpoint, a M3 with its 45 ACP recoil is bound to be
less accurate than a MP5 with its 9mm or a HK53 with its 5,56 Nato. But
how mcuh accuracy do we need from a close range SMG? The M3 wa
sconceived as a war time weapon: low cost, volume of fire, low
maintenance.
