Thanks Bob,Rick,Ellen ,Richard and Rick for your interest. I am basically
hunting around for my next project when I finish with my Classical Cass in
progress now. This is going to be  NewtCass with an 8 inch f6 parabolic
primary and secondary mag of about 8 to give me an f 50 (or so ) cass which
hopefully should give me stunning planetary images,and a general purpose
Newt.
I have 6 1/2 inch porthole glass about 3/4 inch thick. So I was thinking of
a richfield instrument next. It seems that a Mak would be rather difficult
as the curves of the corrector would be quite steep so I am tilting towards
a Lurie Houghton.Design info on a Mak also seems to be difficult to come
by. I have no access to the books and Journals mentioned but  Detailed
design data for LH  is available on Rick's webpage. So now I am toying with
the idea of making an f4.5 primary ( spherical ) and make it into an LH
