Here is the excerpt where someone using the handle "Howard. Carson"
made the characterization:

I have found this particular thread to be peppered with statements
made by "Howard. Carson" that might be considered somewhat less than
respectful, such as:
HC> "...you're being completely obtuse."
If you deny making the comments, or acknowledge making them while
maintaining that they were meant respectfully, then I will accept
your word and let it drop at that. I don't want to make an issue
out of this, nor do I wish to argue about it, I bring it up only
because I thought some of your statements were getting a little
nasty, and thought you might want to moderate your words a bit.
If this suggestion does not pertain to you, then please ignore it.
