This remapping of IRQs business has me beat. (a) I find the ACPI docs. 
difficult to understand, if not sometimes contradictory; (b) I have an 
AMD motherboard using the nVidia nForce5 Ultra chipset, which does a 
whole lot of things -- especially IRQs -- differently from the way 
Intel-based machines work; (c) if I can't get it to boot, how do I find 
out what IRQ the SCSI card's trying to use? (d) I've asked questions and 
sent various reports to Pasha but have received no replies.
