Normally the X1050 should work with the latest SNAP v3.1.8 as the X1050 is just 
a relabeled X300/X550/X600. If the device is unsupported this might be a problem.
The supported ATI cards are still the best choice to get DVI working with 
non-standard resolutions not stored in the Video-BIOS.
