I just want post a little update on the AMD Athlon64 X2 topic.
I finally got my ASUS Pundit P1-AH2 working with a driver I got directly from 
Pavel (ACPI v3.08a - build-date 7th April 2008). This is the first driver of the 
ACPI v3.0x line that did work for me getting SMP running again (previously only 
v2.22 did work). I can't say if the normal v3.08 driver release does also work 
as my software subscription ran out and I've not yet renewed it.

I used the following parameters: /SMP /APIC /!NOD
!NOD was required here.


I also gave the latest UniAud build from Paul a chance (v1.9.3 + 1.1.4RC4/RC5) 
and I did get some sound output on the HDA nVidia (MCP51 High Definition Audio; 
Vendor: 10DEh; Device: 026Ch). The IRQ 11 is used and shared by 3 devices in total.
The problem with this UniAud is that it did hang/freezes my machine. I had 
nearly the same problems when using the 16-Bit driver from UniAud v1.1.4RC5 as 
with 1.1.4RC4. The RC4 seems to be better with the sound output I think, as I 
didn't do to much testing.

{at}Paul: Is there anything I can do to help you? I only have very limited time 
right now but if there are some things I could check let me know. I already 
installed the debug version of UniAud but so far I didn't see a log file. The 
debug kernel is also still installed to I should be able to log something on my 
secondary pc (connected via serial cable).
