The problem is not Asus hardware. The problem is Asus people when a need to
deal with them arises. You might get different RMA results depending on
whether discussion of your problem refers to any major software products that
don't originate from Redmond, WA.

Have you tried using your problematic devices running a Knoppix or SUSE live
CD instead of OS/2?
